  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): We use AWS as our primary cloud host, meaning that most of our data processing happens on their infrastructure and most of your data is stored in their data centers. AWS is the market leader in cloud hosting and has strong provisions for privacy and data security in place (e.g. data centers are secured by professional security personnel, video surveillance and intrusion detection).   • Brevo: We employ Brevo to dispatch transactional emails, reminders, and reports (if opted for).
  • Google Drive Integration: Upon your explicit request, if you opt to back up your data to Google Drive, we will store new versions of your script in a designated folder within your Google Drive cloud storage. This feature is completely optional and necessitates your explicit authorization for us to proceed.
  • Zoom Integration: By connecting your Zoom account, you have the option to host a Zoom meeting directly from within Scrēnplā. If you choose to utilize this feature, we may transfer data with Zoom accordingly. It's important to note that this functionality is entirely optional and requires your explicit request for activation. Rest assured, we do not monitor or record any data exchanged during the Zoom meeting.

Transfer of your personal data to educational institutions

Some educational institutions might share a signup link with their students. If you sign up through such a link, we may share your email address and name with the educational institution that was provided said signup link in order to verify that you belong to that institution.

Content Publication and Personal Data

We prioritize the utmost privacy for all your information. However, scrēnplā offers you the option to share certain data with others or publish it on the internet for easier collaboration, should you opt to do so. For instance, you can grant others write access to your script, request feedback on excerpts of your script, or provide comments on others' work. Additionally, you have the choice to (optionally) join writing groups where you can share your work and comment on others' creations. When interacting with the public via our platform, we only publish information that you expressly ask us to share and may attribute it to your name.
